Workplace safety has taken on new meaning over recent times. While we can relate to hard hats, hi-vis shirts and OH&S protocols. The way we operate in our own workplace environments and how we engage our partners, suppliers and our customers has invariably changed forever.

When it comes to safety in the Australian workplace, RSEA Safety is in the unique position to cater for many if not all workplaces. Whether it be for custom design workwear/uniforms, specialised footwear, personal protection equipment (PPE), or OH&S regulatory products such as signage, first aid kits or fire extinguishers. There are very few that can consult, supply and support the workplace safety requirements of organisations large and small. However, the diversification of our business might surprise many.

RSEA started back in 1993 as purely a road safety equipment hire business – hence the initialised name formed from Road Safety Equipment Australia. Our Hire division is still a large part of our business with five depots nationally including the WA branch in Kenwick which specialise in road safety and traffic management hire equipment. We are exclusive distributors of the Zoneguard barrier product that can be installed in the fraction of the time and cost of conventional concrete barriers. We also supply variable message boards, traffic lights, speed advisory boards, lighting towers, crowd control barriers, bollards, signage and safety cones to all major road construction, capital works and local event traffic management crews.

From our Hire foundation, RSEA Safety has grown exponentially to become one of the largest independent retailers of general workwear and workplace safety products in Australia. With over 50 superstores Australia-wide, strategically placed around the country to service both metropolitan and regional locations, including Kalgoorlie. Our superstores house a wide range of workwear, footwear, PPE, workplace safety, lighting, road safety, safety signage, first aid, cleaning and emergency products.

Another point of difference are the products we supply, with some of the world’s best workwear and footwear brands exclusive to RSEA including Carhartt, Timberland Pro, Wolverine and Shoes for Crews, while also carrying other major labels in the industry such as CAT, Eleven, FDX, Steel Blue, Blundstone, Oliver, 3M, Ansell, Honeywell, Bolle, Uvex, Coleman, Stanley, Blue Rapta and Brady.

RSEA doesn’t just supply product over the counter, we are uniform and PPE specialists, with qualified field team and design department that can create bespoke industrial corporate wear, as well as industrial and corporate footwear. Our team take the time to understand a customers particular requirements and assist in identifying the right solutions and equipment for a their needs.

Our retail network should not only be seen as a retail business. These superstores are integrated with our six distribution centres including Gnangara and sixteen embroidery facilities, meaning we can supply customized workwear and safety solutions in a coordinated fashion nationally.

RSEA Safety provides many other sophisticated online applications for more efficient stock control, tracking, budgeting, management, processing and invoicing. Allowing the client to order multiple items with our one-click ‘Fast Entry’ function, or save time by creating templates of your most commonly ordered items which you can share with co-workers.
