Fiveight has appointed Paige Walker as its inaugural chief executive, while current Fiveight head John Meredith will step into a head of investment role at the Andrew and Nicola Forrest led property developer.

Ms Walker was brought in to oversee the Tattarang property arm's redevelopment of Carillon City, which it bought for $80 million from Dexus last year, and Australia’s first Waldorf Astoria Hotel in Sydney.

Ms Walker will leave her post at multinational developer Mirvac Group, where she has spent the last 16 years, including as its general manager residential WA since 2016.

She recently stepped down as Property Council of Australia WA Division president, with Hawaiian chief operating officer Richard Kilbane taking on that role.

Tattarang director Nicola Forrest described Ms Walker as a dynamic and strategic leader who brings exceptional development experience to Fiveight and its diverse portfolio of unique property assets.

“Paige joins our Fiveight team at an exciting time to lead a multi-disciplinary team towards the development and delivery of our landmark projects across some of Australia’s most iconic places and spaces,” Mrs Forrest said.

“This includes the redevelopment of Carillon City in Western Australia and the delivery of Australia's first Waldorf Astoria hotel at One Circular Quay – transformational projects in two major Australian capital cities.”

Tattarang CEO John Hartman welcomed Ms Walker to the Fiveight team and thanked John Meredith for his contribution as Head of Fiveight from the business’s launch in 2020 to today.

John Meredith has accepted the newly created role of Head of Investment at Fiveight.

“John has played a leading role in much of Fiveight’s growth and will continue to focus on group strategy, future acquisitions, optimising the existing portfolio and managing third party relationships,” Mr Hartman said.

Paige Walker will take up the role in July.
