One-stop digital dentist

When health insurer HBF opened its first two of 15 HBF Dental centres earlier this year, it set out to redesign the dental experience for its members. 

HBF Dental gives members everything on their wish list – high quality treatment with no or known out-of-pocket costs, delivered in modern, clean centres that members can easily access and book within their busy schedules.

Catering for time-poor families and professionals, HBF Dental centres in Joondalup and Morley were fitted out with cone beam computed tomography (CT) and hand-held wireless 3D scanners. Both tools produce high resolution digital images which allow HBF dentists to diagnose, plan and treat patients, all within their centre. 

“There’s no traipsing from place to place for x-rays and scans, and then back to the dentist. Our in-house digital imaging capabilities fast-track patient diagnosis and treatment, making the whole experience as seamless and efficient as possible,” HBF Executive General Manager - Health Daniel Heredia said.
