Corrective Services Commissioner James McMahon has been appointed chair of a newly formed nine-member Youth Justice Board to strengthen the state government’s commitment to steer young people away from crime.
The board will strengthen the delivery of early intervention programs, promote engagement between the business, private and public sectors on crime prevention, and engage further with Aboriginal communities.
