Osborne Park-based Fairstar Resources Ltd said it has received several unsolicited enquiries over its 18 per cent shareholding in Golden West Resources Ltd.
Fairstar, which gained an 18.3 per cent interest in GWR through its failed takeover, said it had received the enquiries from parties in China, India, Korea and locally for all or part of the stake.
The company said it will consider its position on the matter with regard to "ongoing factors".
"The strategy in relation to the shareholding in GWR will be dictated by Fairstar's desire to further explore and quickly develop its own tenements," the company said.
