Royal Perth Hospital executive director Frank Daly has been appointed area chief executive at the South Metropolitan Health Service, whose catchment area includes Royal Perth, Fremantle, Armadale and Rockingham hospitals.
Professor Daly takes over from retiring acting area CEO Ian Smith, who left his role as WA Country Health Service CEO late last year to fill the position following the resignation of Nicole Feely.
RPH deputy executive director Alex Smith has now been appointed acting executive director.
