Glenn Jardine has been appointed as an independent non-executive director of Torian Resources. Mr Jardine’s previous roles include chief executive officer of Kimberley Metals Group, managing director of Southern Cross Goldfields and managing director of LionOre Australia.

 

Brierty co-founder Alan Brierty has retired as a non-executive director.

 

Frank Sakda Sreesangkom, James Menzies and Peter Mansell have been appointed as directors of Tap Oil.

Mr Sreesangkom is an executive of Northern Gulf Petroleum Holdings.

Mr Menzies, the former CEO of Salamander Energy, will replace Mr Sandy as an independent non-executive director of the company.

Troy Hayden will step down as the managing director of the company but will continue to provide executive services to the company in a part-time capacity until a suitable replacement CEO is found. In addition to this, Doug Schwebel has notified the will be retiring as a director and will be replaced by Mr Mansell as an independent non-executive director of the company, effete May 27.

 

Chris Bath has resigned as a chief financial officer and company secretary of Oilex.

Cathal Smith has been appointed as interim company secretary. Mr Smith is retained by Oilex and has served in the capacity of legal counsel & commercial manager for the last 3 years including a period as interim Company Secretary.

 

Anthony T Trevisan has been appointed as a director of BMG Resources. Mt Trevisan is the chairman of Transcontinental Group and was previously a director of BMG Resources from December 2010 until October 2013.

 

Stephen McIntosh has been appointed as the acting group executive, technology & Innovation at Rio Tinto. Mr McIntosh will succeed Greg Lilleyman who will leave the company after 25 years of service.

Mr McIntosh has been with Rio Tinto for almost 30 years working on projects in more than 45 countries.
