Peregrine Gold has appointed Tom O'Rourke as joint company secretary, following the resignation of Elizabeth Matthews. Mr O’Rourke is a chartered accountant with over 12 years of experience in private and public companies, specialising in corporate advisory, company secretarial and financial management services.

Westgold Resources has appointed Hon Cheryl Edwardes AM as non-executive chair and Julius Matthys as non-executive director. Ms Edwardes is a highly credentialled and experienced company director and chair, solicitor and former Minister in the Court Government. She has extensive experience and knowledge of WA’s legal and regulatory framework relating to mining projects, environmental, native title, heritage, and land access. Mr Matthys has substantial corporate experience, having spent 36 years in large corporate entities within the resources sector where he held senior executive roles. Company founder and non-executive chair Peter Cook, who has delayed his retirement at the outset of the global pandemic, will now retire after 18 years of service.
