Board Moves July 17, 2023

After 8 years on the board, Stephen Belben has retired as non-executive chair of Adveritas. Joshua Lowcock has been appointed as his replacement. Based in New York, Mr Lowcock is the global chief media officer of UM, part of NYSE-listed Interpublic Group which is one of the largest media agencies in the world. He oversees all omnichannel media and marketing spend for a variety of Fortune 500 clients, as well as partner ad product, advertising technology, and marketing technology innovation. Mr Lowcock had also held similar marketing, media, and technology roles in Australia and China.

Aldoro Resources has appointed Dr Caigen Wang as non-executive director. Dr Wang has extensive experience as a mining engineer, mining academic and mine manager in Australia, Canada and China. He was the founder and managing director of Tietto Minerals, leading it through exploration & resource development to become Africa’s newest gold producer.

Steve Boston has retired from the board of Catalyst Metals, after 14 years as non-executive chair. Current non-executive director Robin Scrimgeour will act as interim chair.

Sacgasco has appointed Kane Marshall as managing director, taking over from Gary Jeffery who will transition to the role of a non-executive technical director. Mr Marshall has over 20 years of experience as a director, geologist, engineer and company builder. He has been advising resource companies on new venture transactions and funding.

VDM Group has appointed Paul Hardie as non-executive director. Mr Hardie is a practising commercial lawyer, general counsel & company secretary with over 20 years of legal, corporate advisory, and governance experience across a range of industry sectors including mining and resources, construction, manufacturing, and financial services.
