Eduardo Valenzuela has been appointed technical director of Consolidated Zinc. Mr  Valenzuela is a mining engineer with extensive industry experience in Australia, Latin America, USA, Asia, and the Middle East.

Former BIS Industries head Ian Lynass has joined Tempo Australia as vice president, strategy and corporate development. Mr  Lynass has a wealth of experience and knowledge in the defence, steel and petrochemical sectors, as well as exposure to the mining industry.

Aurora Labs has appointed Paul Kristensen as non-executive chair, replacing David Budge who is stepping down as interim chair to focus solely on his role as managing director. Finance specialist Mel Ashton will also be joining the board as non-executive director.

Graham Ehm has been appointed independent non-executive director of Kasbah Resources. Mr  Ehm is a highly experienced and successful resources sector executive with more than 40 years of diverse experience in mine operations and project management. Stephen Gill, representative of Pala Investment, has stepped down as non-executive director due to competing workloads. His alternate director, Martyn Buttenshaw, will become a non-executive director as a representative of Pala Investment while Mr  Gill will act as alternate director for Mr  Buttenshaw.

New Century Resources has made several key additions to the board and management team, to bolster the company’s project delivery and operational capabilities. It has appointed Peter Watson as non-executive director, Adam Clark as head of processing and pipeline, Stuart Brown as group financial controller, Tim Edwards as mining technical services manager, and Greg O'Shea as port operations manager.

David Allsopp has been appointed head of business development, Australia and New Zealand, of PainChek. Mr  Allsopp has 10 years of experience in the Australian and New Zealand aged care and allied healthcare sectors. He will be based in Sydney.

Peter Carlisle has been appointed non-executive director of Medibio, having been alternate director to Michael Phelps since June 2017. He is the managing director of Olympics and Action Sports at the global sports marketing agency, Octagon.

Redbank Copper has appointed Neil Porter as non-executive director. Mr  Porter is a commercial manager with over 20 years of experience specialising in supply and logistics across all facets of the mining industry.
