Askari Metals has appointed Joseph Clarry as technical director for geology, following the resignation of non-executive director Chris Evans who has played an important role in the evolution of the company. Mr Clarry has over 20 years of experience in the critical minerals sector including lithium (spodumene), nickel and copper as well as uranium, gold and iron ore, with a particular focus on projects across Africa.

De Grey Mining has appointed Sarah Standish as general counsel and company secretary from 19 February, replacing Craig Nelmes who has been with the company for more than 10 years. Ms Standish has expertise and skills in leading legal, risk, compliance and governance functions in ASX-listed and international companies.

Latin Resources has appointed current non-executive director Peter Oliver as executive director, and chair of its development committee to proactively accelerate the Salina’s Lithium Project into production. Mr Oliver joined the board in October 2022 and has over two decades of experience in the lithium industry.

Pancontinental Energy has appointed Iain Smith as chief executive from 18 March. Mr Smith has been an advisor to the board since May 2023. He was the managing director of Norwest Energy NL for four years, during which the company's share price increased from 0.2 cents per share to a peak of 7.3 cents per share on the back of the Lockyer Deep-1 gas discovery and subsequent takeover by Mineral Resources.
