Chris Evans

Chris Evans has over 20 years of experience managing teams within diverse localities and projects, and in establishing and maintaining key relationships with project finance and off-take partners.

Mr Evans has a civil engineering background and was involved in managing large-scale construction and mining development projects & operations across various commodities.

He was the general manager of operations at Altura Mining prior to being appointed chief operating officer. He was also the project manager for Mount Gibson Iron at Koolan Island and subsequently became project manager for the Mt Webber Mine development at Atlas.

Mr Evans has a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours, and a Master of Engineering Science in Construction Management from the University of New South Wales. He is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
