Cygnus Gold has appointed Carl Travaglini as chief financial officer and joint company secretary, and Michael Naylor will transition from an executive director to non-executive director in March. Mr Travaglini is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Company Secretary with over 14 years of experience in the resources sector, and in various finance and company secretarial roles within Australia, Canada and Africa. He will take over from Susan Field who has resigned due to other commitments. David Southam, who was appointed as managing director, will officially commence on 13 February.

Fin Resources has appointed current company secretary Aaron Bertolatti as non-executive director, and Gautam Varma has resigned as managing director. Mr Bertolatti has been with the company since September 2014, and has extensive experience in the administration of ASX-listed companies, corporate governance and corporate finance.

Invictus Energy has appointed John Bentley as non-executive chair and Robin Sutherland as non-executive director. Mr Bentley has over 40 years of experience in international natural resource development, with a specific focus on Africa’s upstream oil and gas industry since 1993. Mr Sutherland also has extensive experience in Africa, within the E&P sector, having worked on the continent for more than 35 years. In 2020, he launched a successful consultancy business which assists companies with exploration, appraisal and development of Africa’s extensive natural resources.

Patriot Lithium has appointed Nick Vickery as chief executive and managing director from March 2023, as well as Dr Joey Evensen and Ralphe Porter as consultant geologists. Mr Vickery is a mining executive with almost two decades of corporate experience in the lithium mining and processing sector, specialising in the development of major resource projects. Dr Evensen is a geologist and geochemist with extensive experience in LCT pegmatites and related granite ore systems within North America and other areas. Mr Porter has significant experience in the identification and definition of pegmatite hosted lithium, particularly in the Greenbushes and Pilgangoora districts of Western Australia which are two of the largest hard rock lithium producing districts globally.

Top End Energy has appointed Kelly Moore and Michelle Kennedy as joint company secretaries, following the resignation of Shane Hartwig who has been the company secretary since July 2021. Ms Moore is a qualified Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary with extensive experience in providing accounting and secretarial advice to public companies. Ms Kennedy is also a qualified Chartered Accountant and has been the company’s chief financial officer since 2021.
