Strandline Resources chief executive Jozsef Patarica has been appointed to the role of managing director. Mr Patarica was recruited as chief executive in July following the resignation of the then-managing director Luke Graham, bringing more than three decades of experience as a senior mining executive. Prior to joining Strandline, Mr Patarica was based in Victoria as Gippsland Critical Minerals chief executive for more than three years and before this, as Mineral Deposits chief operating officer also for three years.

Ralph Addis will step down as Lotterywest and Healthway chief executive, confirming his last day would be October 13 and he would not be renewing his contract due to end in December. Mr Addis was appointed as chief executive of the state government-owned organisations in February 2022. Lotterywest chief financial officer and manager of corporate services Jeremy Hubble is expected to step in as acting chief executive for both Lotterywest and Healthway while the organisations searched for a permanent replacement.

CSBP has appointed Catch's head of finance Ryan Lamp as general manager to replace Mark Scatena, who is moving on to the fertiliser firm’s parent company Wesfarmers. Mr Lamp has held various roles for Wesfarmers and Wesfarmers Chemical Energy and Fertilisers since joining the conglomerate in 2008, including 10 years of management with WesCEF. Those roles include stints as WesCEF’s business development manager and CSBP’s operations manager where he was responsible for fertiliser imports, manufacturing, storage and despatch in Kwinana and the regional network.

Master Builders Association of WA has announced Matthew Pollock as chief executive, succeeding John Gelavis who stepped down in August. Mr Pollock is set to transition to MBA WA in January from his current role as Master Builders Tasmania chief executive, where he has worked since 2018. Prior to this, Mr Pollock was chief economist for Master Builders Australia for two years and serves on the boards of Master Builders Insurance Brokers and TasBuild Limited.
