IT firm ASG Group has secured a $22 million contract to provide its services to United Energy and Multinet Gas over a five-year term.
The scope of work involves ASG providing infrastructure managed services to the Victorian energy provider, with three one-year extension options attached to the deal.
“Customers have confidence in ASG’s deep and intimate knowledge of the energy sector and our ability to deliver efficient and cost-effective solutions,” ASG chief executive Geoff Lewis said.
“We are very pleased to be chosen to continue as UE & MG’s partner for this important new project.”
The contract win follows news yesterday that ASG had delivered weaker-than-expected annual results, along with bonus payments to its top executives.
Shares in ASG were 2 per cent higher to 98.5 cents at 1:30pm.
