Tsvetnenko heads up WA Young Rich

Six Western Australian businesspeople have made the cut in the latest instalment of BRW’s Young Rich list.

Mobile telephone services entrepreneur Zhenya Tsvetnenko was the highest ranked sandgroper, coming it at 13th with a personal fortune of $115 million.

Property mogul Ronnie Elhaj, part-owner of Australian Property Alliance, was next, his $64 million fortune ranked 33rd.

Richard Poulsen and Kylie Radford, owners of the Morrison brand, also made the top 50, ranked 48th with $42 million.

The Simmons Group founder, Dave Simmons, was ranked 66th, with a total of $33 million; while resources investor Leigh Junk made the list at 95, with a $22 million fortune.

Coal baron Nathan Tinkler topped the list for the fourth straight year, with a personal fortune of $1.1 billion.

Collectively, the net worth of the Young Rich list rose to $7.3 billion, from $6.3 billion last yaer.

To be eligible for BRW’s Young Rich list, entrepreneurs must be aged 40 or under.
