St John appoints four

St John of God Health Care Murdoch has recently made four  appointments in corporate, medical and nursing services.

Paul Andrews has been appointed director of corporate services, after eight years with the Catholic Education Office as manager of employee and community relations. Prior to this he was employed in the government health industry, in human resources and industrial relations.

Mr Andrews has been president of the City of Perth Surf Life Saving Club for the past five years.

Lachlan Henderson (centre) is the new director of medical services, after acting in the position for six months.

Dr Henderson has practised as a General Practitioner since 1991, and in 1999 was appointed GP Liaison Officer of Murdoch.

He has been completing a Master of Health Services Management, externally, through Monash University.

 

Andrew Jan has been appointed director of emergency medicine, after acting in this position for the past 12 months.

Dr Jan has been a staff specialist in the emergency department since 2000, and prior to this was working in Beijing.

Chris Hanna (bottom) is the new deputy director of nursing.

Ms Hanna completed general and midwifery nursing training in New South Wales in 1989. Following clinical experience in orthopaedic nursing in the private sector, and then midwifery experience in the public sector, Ms Hanna spent time in Alberta, Canada, working in nursing research, education and quality assurance.

On returning to Australia, Ms Hanna was appointed deputy director of nursing/quality manager at Jamison Private Hospital in New South Wales.

Most recently she has been director of nursing at Mount Hospital.
