GESB recruits Langoulant, Nance

John Langoulant has been appointed as chairman of GESB, WA’s largest superannuation fund. Mr Langoulant is currently the chief executive officer of Oakajee Port & Rail. He was previously CEO of Australian Capital Equity and the WA Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Catherine Nance, a partner and actuary at PwC, has been appointed to the GESB board as an employee director.

Bellamy heads Austal

Andrew Bellamy has been appointed as chief executive officer of aluminium vessel producer Austal, and has also been appointed to the board. He was previously chief operating officer of the company’s Australian business and, before that, head of global sales and marketing. Austal’s chairman John Rothwell will resume his role as non-executive chairman of the group.

Changes at Eneabba Gas

Chartered accountant Chris Bennett has been appointed as chairman following the resignation of Reg Gillard as a director of Eneabba Gas, which is seeking to develop the Centauri 1 power station near Dongara in WA’s Mid West. Mr Bennett has been a non-executive director of the company since 2006. He was previously the general manager finance of Foodland Associated.

Smith-Gander to CBH Group

Diane Smith-Gander has been appointed as a director of grain handler and marketer CBH Group. Ms Smith-Gander is currently a director of Wesfarmers, Transfield Services and National Broadbank Network Company. She was previously group executive, business and technology, solutions and services at Westpac and a partner with management consulting firm McKinsey & Co in the US.
