Monadelphous locks in $110m contracts

Engineering and construction contractor Monadelphous has secured a series of contracts worth about $110 million, including a three-year deal for work at the Muja power station in Collie.

Monadelphous announced today that it has been awarded the contract for the operation and maintenance of the coal handling facility at the Synergy-owned power station in Collie.

The company has also won a three-year contract for mechanical maintenance, inspection and protective coating services at the Dalrymple Bay coal terminal in Queensland.

Other contracts secured include a two-year contract extension for mechanical services for Queensland Alumina in Gladstone and a three-year deal to provide shutdown maintenance for BHP at the Mount Arthur coal project in New South Wales.

In addition, the company has locked in a contract with Pukaki Irrigation Company for the design, supply, installation and commissioning of a gravity pressurised irrigation scheme in the Mackenzie Basin in New Zealand, which is expected to be completed in October 2018.
