Perth-based mining software developer Micromine has announced the opening of a new regional office in Denver, Colorado.
The Denver office will focus on the implematation of the company's mine control and management system, Pitram, in the U.S.
Micromine has existing offices in Elko, Nevada, and Vancouver, Canada.
North America operations manager Colin Smith said the Denver office would become Micromine's U.S headquarters.
"Pitram has been successfully implemented within mining operations throughout North America," he said.
"Due to tighter regulatory controls, profitability margins and personnel safety, the demand for management and reporting systems is increasing.
"The opening of Micromine's Denver office will ensure this demand is satisfied".
