McKinnon replaces Tate at Fleetwood

Former Austal Ltd managing director Bob McKinnon will take over as managing director of East Perth-based accommodation manufacturer Fleetwood Corporation Ltd, replacing Greg Tate.

Mr Tate, who has served as managing director for 17 years, will become chief operating officer and remain an executive director of the company.

In other board changes, company chairman Peter Gunzburg will step down from the role after this year's annual general meeting in line with the company's rotation policy. He will be replaced by current director Michael Hardy.

As part of the Fleetwood Corporation Limited management succession plan the following changes are announced.

Managing Director

Effective 1 November 2007 Greg Tate will hand the role of Managing Director of Fleetwood Corporation to Bob McKinnon who is currently an Executive Director.

Greg will continue his involvement with Fleetwood as an Executive Director and will assume the role of Chief Operating Officer allowing him to focus on operational issues in the group.

Greg joined the board as a founding director of Fleetwood Corporation in 1987 and was appointed Managing Director in 1990.

The Board of Directors takes this opportunity to acknowledge the outstanding contribution Greg has made in the development of Fleetwood from a company with a market capitalisation on listing in 1987 of $4 million to a group with a current capitalisation of approximately $500 million.

Bob McKinnon was appointed as an Executive Director of Fleetwood Corporation in September 2005 and has worked closely with Greg over the past 2 years.

Before joining Fleetwood, Bob was Managing Director of Austal Limited for over 6 years and prior to this held a range of senior management positions.

Chairman of Directors

Peter Gunzburg has served as Chairman of Directors of Fleetwood Corporation since 2002 and in accordance with the Board's rotation policy Michael Hardy who is currently a Non Executive Director will be appointed Chairman of Directors effective from the conclusion of this year's Annual General Meeting.

The Board takes this opportunity to thank Peter for the role he has played as Chairman in the growth of Fleetwood and looks forward to his continued involvement as a Non Executive Director.

Michael Hardy was appointed as a Non Executive Director in 2005 and is currently Chairman of the Fleetwood audit and remuneration committees.

Michael is a founding principal of a Perth based legal practice and therefore brings extensive legal knowledge and expertise to the role of Chairman.
