THERE is still room for businesses to get a piece of the action in the Foodbank Charity Golf Classic to be held at Lake Karrinyup Country Club on March 26.

Confirmed PGA Tour golfers include Wayne Grady, Wayne Smith, Nick O’Hern, Brett Rumford, Jarrod Moseley, Kim Felton, Steve Collins, Mike Harwood, Michael Sims and Rick Culacz.

Other sporting celebrities include Rechelle Hawkes, Andrew Vlahov, Bill Kirby, Chris Mainwaring, Scott Fischer, Jenny Morris, Scotty Watters, Ashley McIntosh and Damon Diletti.

The event’s organising committee has been approaching Perth business leaders to purchase a team of three to play in the event.

There is room for a total of 25 teams and entry to the event can be purchased by way of a $3,000 donation to Foodbank.

The entry by donation includes 18 holes of golf with a PGA golfer or celebrity, dinner at the LKCC for player and spouse and top golf merchandise, great prizes and a golfing memorabilia auction to be run by Mack Hall.

The event is being produced by Ernst & Young and sponsored by Qantas and Drummond Golf.

There will be an online auction (via the E&Y homepage at www.ey.com) the week prior to determine which teams get to play with which golfers or celebrities.
