Purple Communications co-founder and EON Foundation co-founder and chair Caroline de Mori has been appointed chair of Landgate. Ms de Mori founded EON in 2005, and for her efforts as an indigenous health advocate she received the Western Australian Local Hero of the Year award in 2013. She previously held the position of deputy chair at Landcorp from 2009 until this year. Ms de Mori co-founded Purple in 2004, and served as a director until 2010. She replaces the retiring Geoffrey Hick, who leaves after serving as chair since 2010. Roger Hussey has been reappointed as deputy chair of Landgate for a further three years.
