Crown Perth has stamped its claim as the state’s best hotel, taking home a swag of prizes at the Australian Hotels Association’s accommodation industry awards last night.
In total, Crown Perth took home five awards, including its Crown Metropol Perth hotel being named best overall, best resort, and best deluxe accommodation, while Nobu Perth was named the best restaurant.
Crown Perth chief operating officer Andrew Hill was also inducted into the Accommodation Hotel Industry Hall of Fame.
AHA chief executive Bradley Woods said around 600 guests were on hand for the awards, which were held at Crown Perth.
Other major award winners included Hotel Alex, which was named best new hotel, the Mangrove Hotel in Broome, which was the best redeveloped hotel and the Esplanade Hotel Fremantle by Rydges, which won the best marketed hotel category.
