Buyout puts focus on enterprise

THE recent acquisition of WA-based Enterprise Solutions by Perth business Focal Systems will speed up the expansion of a unique, Danish-designed e-business service into WA.

The move is a bid by Focal Systems to ramp up sales of its enterprise resource planning software through Navision. Enterprise Solutions is the only WA provider of Navision, an end-to-end business solution system for companies and government departments.

Focal Systems managing director Mick Cook said the merger was a strategic move by both companies.

He said Enterprise Solutions would bring Navision experience to the company and allow Focal Systems to broaden its WA market.

“The merger allows Focal Systems to fast-track our growth plans for the Navision product in Western Australia and provides an extended support team for new and existing clients,” he said.

Clients include Jandakot Airport and furniture chain Ikea.

Enterprise Solutions managing director Chris Stevens said the deal boosted the two companies’ abilities to provide technical support to clients.
