Board Moves September 13, 2023

Equinox Resources has appointed Zekai (Zac) Komur as chief executive, following the resignation of Gower He after nine months in the role. Mr Komur has over 23 years of experience in senior management roles within the resources sector. He has been involved in development, project delivery, valuations, mining, and mineral processing operations across a range of commodities including iron ore, nickel, cobalt, and lithium.

Peter Lester has advised of his intention to retire as non-executive chair of Helix Resources on November 1, after more than 5 years with the company. As part of the transition plan, Michael Rosenstreich will then step down as managing director to become executive chair, and current non-executive director Dr Kylie Prendergast will take-up the new position of executive technical director.

Pentanet has appointed Arron Canicais as joint company secretary. Mr Canicais is an experienced finance professional who has been a company secretary and chief financial officer for public and private companies across several sectors.
