Board Moves November 10, 2022

Anova Metals has appointed seasoned financial and commercial executive Mark Connelly as non-executive chair from 30 November, taking over from Eddie Rigg who will remain a close advisor to the board. Mr Connelly has extensive resource industry experience in management leadership and board roles. His direct operational and capital markets experience spans many jurisdictions including Australia, North America, South America, Africa and Europe.

Sandfire Resources has appointed highly experienced mining executive Brendan Harris as chief executive and managing director. Mr Harris has extensive experience as an exploration geologist, equity analyst and senior executive with a broad range of leadership, commercial and technical skills to assist in the management and operations of a diversified international mining business. He also has extensive understanding of the future-facing metals required to sustainably decarbonise the global economy. He will commence in the role in April 2023, with current chief operating officer Jason Grace continuing as acting chief executive in the interim.

Sophie Raven has resigned as joint company secretary of Sierra Rutile.
