Carnavale Resources has appointed Humphrey Hale as chief executive from June. Mr Hale has over 25 years of experience in the resource industry, exploring and developing assets. He has been the company’s consulting managing geologist since July 2020, and has successfully managed the acquisition of new opportunities and exploration of the company’s assets.

Deep Yellow has appointed Chris Salisbury as non-executive chair, taking over from Rudolf Brunovs who will remain on the board as a non-executive director. Mr Salisbury is a metallurgical engineer with more than 30 years of mining, strategy and operational experience across a diverse range of commodities. He also has extensive uranium experience, having worked in the industry within Australia and Namibia.

Perseus Mining has appointed Amber Banfield as non-executive director. Ms Banfield has been with Worley since 1999, and held the role of global strategy director where she was responsible for developing and implementing a company-wide energy transition strategy to grow decarbonising businesses including hydrogen and renewables.
