Board Moves March 8, 2023

Allup Silica has made several changes to its board structure including current executive chair Andrew Haythorpe taking on the additional role of a managing director, Gavin Ball transitioning from executive director to non-executive director, and executive director Nicholas Revell retiring from the board but remaining a consultant and providing geological & project management services.

Orthocell has appointed experienced US healthcare executive Dr Ravi Thadhani as an independent non-executive director. Dr Thadhani has over 30 years of experience as a general and specialised physician, researcher, medical administrator and commercialisation advisor within the US healthcare sector.

Woodside Energy has appointed Arnaud Breuillac as an independent non-executive director. Mr Breuillac has extensive understanding of the energy transition and the corresponding role of energy suppliers, having had a 40-year tenure with major global energy player TotalEnergies where he held positions across the Middle East, continental Europe and central Asia before retiring as president of exploration & production after seven years in the role. At the upcoming AGM on 28 April, Dr Sarah Ryan and Dr Christopher Haynes will step down as non-executive directors, having been on the board since December 2012 and June 2011 respectively.

Zinc of Ireland has appointed Peter Huljich as non-executive chair, taking over from Richard Monti who has held the role since May 2018. Mr Huljich has over 25 years of experience in the legal, natural resources and banking sectors with particular expertise in capital markets, mining and commodities. Jerry Monzu, company secretary since 2019, has also been appointed a non-executive director.
