Board Moves March 10, 2021

Dr Michael Anderson will become managing director of Firefinch on 6 April. Dr Anderson is a resource industry executive with extensive management and technical experience in Africa and Australia. Dr Alistair Cowden has acted as executive chair over the past year and will resume the role of non-executive chair.

Magnum Mining & Exploration has appointed experienced mining executives Hugh Callaghan and Don Carroll to the board of directors, with Grant Button and Frank Cannavo retiring as chief executive and non-executive director respectively. Mr Callaghan is a law graduate who commenced work in the resources industry in 1993, working in commercial and project strategy across a range of precious, base metal and bulk commodities. Mr Carroll had a 37-year career with Rio Tinto and BHP, initially as a mining engineer with Rio Tinto in iron ore and then with BHP in coal, before moving into marketing and business development. Mr Button will remain a company secretary in the short term and a key consultant to advancing the potential development of the Gravelotte emerald project.

Kate Sainty and Steven Wood have resigned as joint company secretaries of Skin Elements. Current non-executive director Phil Giglia will take over as company secretary. Mr Giglia is a chartered accountant with more than 25 years of experience.
