Carbine Resources has advised of the departures of Evan Cranston as non-executive director, and Oonagh Malone as both a non-executive director and company secretary.

Keith Skinner will be retiring as an independent non-executive director of Emeco Holdings on 13 June. He has been on the board since April 2017. James Walker III, who has significant financial and commercial experience from his 30-year career in executive leadership, asset management and investment banking, has been appointed to the board.

Newfield Resources has made changes to its board structure as its Tongo Diamond Mine progresses towards commercial production. It has appointed Kunal Malhotra as non-executive director, Koos Visser as senior technical advisor to the board, and Lili Jiang as chief financial officer. Mr Malhotra is an experienced company director with over 15 years of experience across corporate & commercial law and litigation. Mr Visser is an electrical engineer with significant mine operational experience in a range of commodities, particularly diamonds. Ms Jiang is a Chartered Accountant with over 15 years of corporate and financial management experience within the resources sector. She was previously a financial controller of the company. Newfield has also advised of the resignations of Alistair Croll and Karen O'Neill as non-executive directors. They were involved in the evolvement of the mine from development into first production phase.

Dr Roric Smith will retire as non-executive director of Sandfire Resources at the end of June. Dr Smith has been with the company since December 2016 and will continue in an advisory role, working directly with the senior management team to progress its global exploration program.

Greg Almond has resigned as chief executive of Star Minerals. Mr Almond was instrumental in taking the company through the IPO process, and increasing the value of its Tumblegum South project.
