Castillo Copper has appointed Dr Dennis Jensen as chief executive and non-executive director and Geoff Reed will transition to an executive director, both effective from February. Dr Jensen, a research scientist and former MP with 12 years of experience in federal politics, is the founding managing director of Castillo’s subsidiary Broken Hill Alliance. Simon Paull will retire from the company, having served as managing director since August 2019.

De Grey Mining has appointed Samantha Hogg as an independent non-executive director. Ms Hogg has had an extensive executive career with international experience across the resources and infrastructure sectors.

Dr Markus Elsasser has advised that he is retiring from all public roles at the end of January, including as non-executive director of Impact Minerals, in order to concentrate on his private interests. He has been on the board since 2012.

Oilex has appointed current chief financial officer Colin Judd as an executive director. Mr Judd joined the company in July 2021, and is a chartered accountant who has held numerous senior financial management roles including as European financial controller of a transport and logistics company, and CFO of private-equity-backed oil service businesses.

National real estate company The Agency Group Australia has advised that Matt Lahood has resigned from the board, and current group CEO & MD Geoff Lucas will take over his role on the board as an executive director. The transition is part of the restructure previously foreshadowed and Mr Lahood, as part of his appointment to chief executive of real estate, will extend his focus on developing the company’s east coast markets.
