JianDong He, current non-executive director of A-CAP Energy, will take over as chair. Mr He is a professional investor with substantial commercial and technical experience.

BCI Minerals has appointed former WA Premier and treasurer Richard Court AC as non-executive director. Mr Court will assist in the areas of BCI engagement with the Western Australian & Federal Governments, and with potential offtake parties in East Asia, as the company heads into the late stages of securing final approvals, funding and offtake for the Mardie Project.

Andrew Pickering has been appointed non-executive director of Global Energy Ventures from February. Mr Pickering has over 40 years of experience in shipping and logistics across the globe. He was responsible for the largest global fleet of chemical tankers at Stolt-Nielsen and was a founding CEO of Avenir LNG, both listed in Norway. Following this appointment, Thomas Soderberg and Paul Garner will resign from the board to focus on other business interests.

John Woodacre has joined the board of Gulf Manganese Corporation as non-executive director. Mr Woodacre has extensive corporate and operational experience in public companies within Australia and overseas in the capacity of general manager of organisational development, and as a director of productivity and organisation design.

Triple Energy has appointed Po Siu Chan, Fung Ming Pang and Colin Hiles as non-executive directors, following the resignations of Tim Bardwell and Francis Lim from the board. Mr Chan was an executive director of the company from Feb 2015 to Feb 2017. He has experience in business consulting and investment banking in China and the Asia Pacific region. Ms Pang is a Hong Kong qualified accountant and finance professional with extensive corporate experience; and Mr Hiles is an experienced retired commercial and corporate lawyer who has been a director of many listed companies in Australia, Hong Kong and China.
