Austal has appointed Kathryn Toohey AM as non-executive director. Ms Toohey has strong program management, government procurement, digital and technology expertise through her experience in senior executive roles within the Department of Defence, including as head of land capability with the Australian Army where she was responsible for the modernisation and sustainment of all Army equipment and infrastructure such as helicopters, tanks, communication systems and watercraft.

Bernard Crawford has resigned as joint company secretary of Kalamazoo Resources, having been in the role since 2016.
