Argenica Therapeutics has appointed Dianne Angus as non-executive chair, taking over from Geoff Pocock who remains on the board as a non-executive director. Ms Angus has extensive executive managerial and company director experience in the biotechnology, biopharmaceutical, agritech and healthcare industries.

AusCann Group Holdings has appointed experienced medicinal cannabis and corporate executive Andrew Chapman as non-executive chair, following the resignation of Tod McGrouther. Mr Chapman is a founder and director of Merchant Group, a Perth-based private wealth and fund manager. Merchant Funds Management is a substantial shareholder of the company.

Canyon Resources has appointed Gaurav Gupta as a non-executive director. Mr Gupta is a qualified Chartered Accountant with over 25 years of experience in international trade.

Mark Licciardo has taken over from Joel Ives as company secretary of DigitalX. Mr Licciardo is the managing director of listed company services at Acclime Corporate Services Australia, which provides company secretarial and corporate governance consulting services to ASX-listed and unlisted public and private companies.

Karen Logan has resigned as joint company secretary of EcoGraf.

Hazer Group has appointed Joan Dabon as company secretary, replacing Harry Spindler who is pursuing other professional opportunities. Ms Dabon is a Chartered Secretary with over 7 years of experience in providing company secretarial and corporate advisory services to ASX- and NSX-listed companies across a variety of sectors including mining, property development, logistics and distribution, consumer services, manufacturing and agriculture.

MGC Pharmaceuticals has appointed Dan Robinson as non-executive director, with Stephen Parker and Dr Ross Walker stepping down from the board. Mr Robinson has over 20 years of experience in a broad range of corporate roles across stockbroking, corporate advisory, investor relations and governance. He is also an experienced company secretary and director of private and listed companies.

Stephen Carter has resigned as chief executive of NeuroScientific Biopharmaceuticals. Mr Carter was appointed to the role recently in September and will be staying till the end of December to oversee the preparation of the documents necessary to make the Investigational New Drug submission to the US Food and Drug Administration.

Orbital Corporation has appointed Dr Grant Lukey as non-executive director. Dr Lukey, chief executive and managing director of Coogee Chemicals, is an experienced industry executive with a background in chemical engineering.

Spectur has appointed Rhett Morson as non-executive director. Mr Morson, has over 25 years of experience in finance and manufacturing industries. He has been a shareholder of the company for over 2 years.

The Market (formerly The Market Herald) has appointed Bruce Rathie as non-executive chair and Geoff Stalley as non-executive director. Mr Rathie has been a professional non-executive director for over 20 years and has prior careers in law and finance. He will take over from Alec Pismiris who remains on the board as a non-executive director. Mr Stalley is an experienced senior advisor, business leader and director who has been involved in starting, building, growing and improving the performance of businesses.

WA Kaolin has appointed Kenneth Hall as non-executive director, following the resignation of Cathy Moises who has been on the board since May 2020. Mr Hall, through his various holdings, is the company’s largest shareholder. His son, Brady Hall, has been appointed as his alternate director.
