Quotation ~ "My first exposure to VR in 2014 was a poor, and sometimes nauseating, experience, but I immediately understood immersive technology's ability to change the nature of education, training, entertainment and beyond – particularly as it moves ever closer to the photo-realistic. This inspired me to quit my ‘day job’ and develop the Immersia platform,” Adam Geoghegan said.

$/News/Market ~ The company has raised over $50,000 early-stage investment from family and friends, as well as the Vocus Upstart program, and is open to approaches from new investors. By 2025 the global VR, and particularly AR, industry is expected to grow to $US35 billion, with $US16 billion from enterprise applications, and $US7 billion from live video and video entertainment (Goldman Sachs global investment research 2015).

Immersia launched on August 28 2014 and is ranked #75 by launch date in the BNiQ Startups List.
