Our weekly appointments wrap includes Tony Howarth, Jayden Rogers, Maria Davison, Mark Thompson, Jenny Cutri and Ryan Northover

Tony Howarth will be the St John of God Foundation’s new chair. Mr Howarth was previously St John of God Health Care board chair for fourteen years from January 2004 to May 2018. He worked for 30 years in the banking and finance industry including as managing director of Challenge Bank, and is now a prominent company director with non-executive roles at Alinta Energy, BWP Trust and Viburnum Funds. 

Linear Clinical Research has appointed Jayden Rogers as chief executive. Mr Rogers has been acting chief executive and was previously the chief operating officer and global business development manager. Prior to joining Linear, Mr Rogers was the commercial manager for biotechnology company OBJ. Outgoing chief executive Michael Winlo remains on the Linear board.

Maria Davison has been appointed chief executive of Alzheimer's WA. Ms Davison is a qualified psychologist who began her career specialising in aged care before moving into customer services and operations. She previously worked as chief operations officer at Ability Centre and held a number of managerial positions at Amana Living. Ms Davison will commence her role in January 2020. 

CV Check has appointed Mark Thompson as chief revenue officer and Jenny Cutri has been promoted to chief compliance officer. The positions are a result of an executive team restructure. Mr Thompson previously worked as the sales and marketing solutions specialist and national account director with illion. Ms Cutri is the company’s current company secretary and legal counsel. 

Ryan Northover has joined public relations firm CGM Communications to lead its social and digital communications practice. Mr Northover is returning to WA after working at News Corporation in Sydney as head of social media strategy. He is also the co-founder of local lifestyle, news and social media network So Perth and has previously worked in marketing at MindEye Marketing, Ventura Home Group and Hatchd.
