West Australian Ballet has appointed Lauren Major as head of development, giving her responsibility of corporate partnerships and philanthropy. Ms Major was previously the chief business development officer at Uniting WA, and prior to that, director of development at MLC.

Sean Adomeit will be chief executive Australia and New Zealand of Openn Negotiation. Mr Adomeit was appointed marketing manager at the company in December 2017 and chief operating officer in November 2018. Prior to joining, he worked in marketing roles at Boral. Former Domain senior executive James Fitzgerald has been appointed general manager of product marketing.

Caroline Parry had been appointed to the board of Leadership WA. Ms Parry is an audit and risk committee member for WA’s Mental Health Commission, as well as a workshop facilitator for Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. She previously served as the chief financial officer of Gold Corporation.

Privately-owned engineering firm BG&E has made Gaye McMath a non-executive director. Ms McMath has more than 20 years’ experience as a director with publicly listed companies, government trading enterprises and not-for-profit organisations. She is deputy chair of the Southern Ports Authority in Western Australia, a board member of Power & Water Corporation in the Northern Territory and Dementia Australia, as well as chair of the Australian Masters Games Advisory Board.

Sue Middleton has joined Racing and Wagering Western Australia’s board, replacing Kirrilee Warr. Ms Middleton has spent 25 years working with rural and regional communities and organisations to manage change processes. She has been involved in key leadership groups at a national and state level, including the Council of Australian Governments Reform Council, the National Regional Women's Advisory Council and has been a Commissioner on the WA Agricultural Produce Commission. Clarity Communications managing director Anthony Hasluck has been reappointed to the board.

Black Rock Mining has hired Paul Sims as chief financial officer. Mr Sims has more than 25 years of executive experience in the resources industry, with previous exposure to zinc, iron ore, cobalt, nickel, and uranium commodities in finance and commercial roles at BHP, WMC Resources, Minara Resources, and Karara Mining.

Harvest Technology Group has promoted Craig Byron to chief financial officer, replacing Colin Napier. Mr Byron previously worked as senior financial advisor to the group. He recently worked for LS Sadleirs and Tattarang.
