Our weekly appointments wrap includes Peter Lee, Ann Robinson, Lesley Parker, Grant Robinson, Di Bain, Jamie Fini, and Erin Watson-Lynn

WA architect Peter Lee and executive Ann Robinson have joined the Rottnest Island Authority board, replacing Suzanne Hunt and Robert McDonald. Mr Lee is the international director of design firm HASSELL and is on the board at FORM, Foundation Housing and Open House Perth and is an adjunct professor at Curtin University. Ms Robinson is a director at Pioneer Credit Limited and the Lionel Samson Sadleirs Group and a member of Curtin University’s audit, risk and compliance committee. 

Lesley Parker has been appointed to the National Centre for Student Equity in Higher Education advisory board based at Curtin University. Emeritus Professor Parker is a former Curtin University senior deputy vice-chancellor. Perth USAsia Centre head of programs Erin Watson-Lynn will chair the board for another three-year term. 

Grant Robinson has been appointed chairman of the Zoological Parks Authority, overseeing administration of Perth Zoo. Mr Robinson is a former deputy chair of the Botanic Gardens and Parks Authority and current board member of Netball WA, as well as a non-executive director of Juniper, North Metropolitan Health Service and Perth Festival. Di Bain and Jamie Fini have also been appointed to the board. Ms Bain is currently managing director of Bain Media and commissioner of Tourism WA. Mr Fini is managing director of FJM Property Perth, as well as a non-executive director with Perth Festival and board member of UWA’s business school.
