Youth Focus has appointed WA Cricket Association chief executive and former Australian cricketer Christina Matthews as a director on its board. Ms Matthews is also chair of Youth Focus’ Hawaiian Ride for Youth organising committee and has previously served as deputy chair.

Former head perfumer for beauty brand Aveda Guy Vincent has been appointed chief executive of Dutjahn Sandalwood Oils. Prior to a ten-year stint at Aveda in the United States, Mr Vincent spent seven years at Aromatherapy Associates in London. The company is a partnership between Central Deserts native title holder Dutjahn Custodians, Kutkabbuba Aboriginal Corporation and WA Sandalwood Plantations founders Keith Drage and Ron Mulder.

Peytee Grusche will join Thomson Geer's soon-to-be-expanded Perth office.  Dr Grusche joins from the tech law team at Russell Kennedy Aitken Lawyers where she was special counsel, lawyer and patent attorney. She has previously worked for TressCox Lawyers and Circadian technologies and completed a PhD in cancer cell biology with Peter McCallum Cancer Centre.

RE/MAX Australia has promoted Donna Goddard as business growth manager, WA. Ms Goddard joined RE/MAX WA as business manager in 2013, after working as state manager with realestate.com and a 12-year stint as advertising director for News Limited. RE/MAX Australia acquired the WA franchise in April 2020.

Peter Pollard has been appointed chief financial officer at Macmahon Holdings, replacing Giles Everist. Mr Pollard has experience in the engineering, construction and resources sectors in Australia, Asia and the Middle East. He most recently worked as the chief financial officer and subsequently chief executive at Arabtec.
