Pilar Kasat will be chief executive at Regional Arts WA. Dr Kasat was the managing director of Community Arts Network before researching the role of the arts in driving social change. Most recently, she was interim executive producer at the Last Great Hunt. She is also chair of Art on the Move.

Lease Equity had made two new hires: Erica Campbell and Angela Dawson. Ms Campbell has been appointed as director of property management (shopping centres). Previously, she was at Stockland for 17 years in various shopping centre and asset management positions. Ms Dawson was made corporate marketing and communications executive at the firm. Most recently, she was working for JLCA as marketing manager.

Matthew Allen has joined marine and subsea service provider MMA Offshore as business development manager. Mr Allen previously worked at Subcon, the company he founded, as business development manager. He served as chief executive of Subcon for close to a decade from 2011. Prior to this, he was a decommissioning engineer at Chevron and an installation manager at Woodside Energy.

Cygnet West has hired Ian Burrows and Clinton Turner. Mr Burrows has rejoined the organisation after a brief stint at Colliers International and will take on the role of director facility management and project management services. A qualified valuer, Mr Turner will assume the role of senior leasing and sales executive. 

Melissa Grove will be chair of theatre company The Last Great Hunt. Ms Grove has almost two decades’ experience in accounting and finance, including work at Deloitte and Chevron. She is founding director of management consultant Consulting Alchemy, a non-executive advisory board member of Circular Seed and a company secretary of Decommissioning Australia.

Scott Hollier has been made chair of the Disability Services Commission board. Mr Hollier is the chief executive and chair of the Centre for Accessibility Australia and serves as chair of disability arts organisation DADAA. Community Employers WA secretary and co-chair of the Sexuality Education Counselling and Consultancy Agency Amanda Hunt and Kimberley Aboriginal Medical Services senior manager Linda McSherry have also joined the board.

St John WA has appointed Tamsyn Howard as executive director people and culture. Prior to this, she was the general manager of human resources and reward at St John of God Health Care. She has also held roles at Ability WA and the Northern Territory government. She is on the board of Injury Matters.

INX Software has made financial executive Luke Disbury chief financial officer. Mr Disbury is an experienced finance director and management consultant and joins the software company from the Corporate Turnaround and Restructuring team at Alvarez & Marsal in the United Kingdom. Prior to this he held a number of finance, transformation, performance improvement and advisory roles in the UK, Kazakhstan, Switzerland and the Netherlands.
