Gold explorer Alchemy Resources has elected a new board of directors headed by former Independence Group director Oscar Aamodt, after the previous board resigned en masse on Friday.
Alchemy announced today that Mr Aamodt would chair a new board that would also feature geologist Lindsay Dudfield and chartered accountant Anthony Ho as non-executive directors.
The company said on Friday that Warwick Davies, Robert Brierley, John Arbuckle and Jeffrey Moore had all resigned as directors.
“Alchemy thanks the outgoing directors for their efforts on behalf of the company and wishes them well in future endeavours,” the company said in a statement to the ASX.
At close of trade today, Alchemy stocks had gained 8.3 per cent, to trade at 13 cents.
