ASG reshuffles board

Perth information and communications technology company ASG Group has reshuffled its board as it builds on its strategic shift.

The company has been pursuing growth in non-traditional information technology markets.

To build on the initial momentum, the company has decided to ‘renew’ its board with a team committed to implementing the strategy for at least the next five years.

As a result, Trevor O’Hoy has stepped down from the board with immediate effect and chairman Ron Baxter has indicated his decision to retire.

Ian Campbell will fill the chairman’s role. Mr Campbell joined the ASG board in 2008 and has been a key driver of the company’s transition and positioning in the new target markets.

Grant Pestell will also join the board as a non-executive director. Mr Pestell has been managing director of law firm Murcia Pestell Hillard since 2002.
