AUSTRADE is holding workshops in Bunbury and Perth in December on Mozambique to publicise the opportunities that are taking place.
Mozambique has made rapid economic progress over the last six years and new projects proposed for development are valued at $5 billion.
Australia is now Mozambique’s second largest source of imports since the opening of the Mozal aluminium smelter, which is taking Australian alumina to the value of $100 million p.a.
Speakers at the workshops will include Dr Rafique, Director of CPI, Mozambique’s Investment promotion agency, Mozambican business representatives and Australian companies doing business in Mozambique.
