Subiaco-based Wolf Minerals Ltd has appointed Ausenco Services Pty Ltd to carry out the feasibility study on its Hemerdon Ball tin and tungsten project in the United Kingdom.

Below is the announcement by Wolf:

Australian specialist minerals exploration and development company Wolf Minerals Limited (Wolf) (ASX: WLF) is pleased to announce the appointment of Ausenco Services Pty Ltd (Ausenco) to undertake the Feasibility Study on its Hemerdon Ball tungsten and tin project in Devon in the UK.

This study is due to be delivered in the second quarter of 2009. Hemerdon Ball is wholly owned by Wolf and is the Company's flagship project. The Project has a JORC compliant inferred resource of 82Mt @ 0.22% tungsten trioxide and 0.022% tin, and a drilling program to upgrade a large portion of the resource to an indicated category is
currently underway.

Wolf has previously commissioned Ausenco to undertake a scoping level study to determine the capital cost of a processing plant and associated infrastructure, the cost per tonne to process ore and the cost of administration at the Hemerdon Ball project. In addition, Wolf recently commissioned Ausenco to manage the metallurgical testwork program for the Hemerdon Ball project.

Results from the recently released scoping studies commissioned by Wolf, and reported to the ASX on 23rd June are extremely encouraging and have allowed Wolf's board of Directors to progress the Hemerdon Ball project by appointing Ausenco to provide a modern Feasibility Study, confirming and enhancing the previous work completed by AMAX. Wolf looks forward to working with Ausenco to progress the Hemerdon Ball tungsten and tin project into a major tungsten and tin mining operation.
