Fortescue Metals Group group manager, treasury and business planning Ian Wells has been made company secretary, replacing Mark Thomas, who will now head the WA iron ore miner’s infrastructure services.
Prior to joining FMG in 2010, Mr Wells was chief financial officer at Jemena, and before that held various senior roles at Alinta.
He is a director at Alzheimer’s Australia WA.
