Water Corporation CEO Jim Gill has announced his resignation, bringing to an end his 13 year occupancy on December 31.
Beginning as chief executive in 1995, Dr Gill headed the task of splitting the utility from the public service and creating a corporatized entity, with the Water Corporation born on January 1, 1996.
Additionally, the corporation's general manager customer services Jim Brown also announced his resignation yesterday, following 36 years of service.
A Water Corporation spokesperson said Mr Brown emailed staff yesterday announcing his decision to not return from long service leave, which he is due to take at the end of June.
