A local investor has bought two neighbouring Walliston industrial properties for $2.345 million.

Sonia Pina Aggiss bought the sites at, at 8 and 10 Godfrey Street, comprising 1,383 square metres of building area on 3,716sqm of land.

Former owners Antonio and Carmelina Mondello owned the buildings for 50 years before putting them on the market.

Ray White Commercial WA co-director Stephen Harrison, who brokered the deal, said the purchase was a rare opportunity.

“Opportunities like these don’t come up often in that area,” he said.

“The market in Walliston is very tightly held, at the current moment there are no properties available for sale or for lease.

“The sellers purchased the two green title lots in the 1970s where they then constructed the two buildings and have owned them since.”

The properties are fully-leased, with eight tenancies including a gym, mechanic, manufacturing properties and retail shops.

The lots generate a combined net income of more than $125,000 a year.
