Transport infrastructure company Asciano has appointed Verve Energy managing director Shirley In't Veld to its board.
Ms In't Veld will join the board as a non-executive director from November 1.
Ms In't Veld has also served on the board of Alcoa Australia and was a member of the Australian Aluminium Council and the Packaging Council of Australia.
"We are delighted to have Ms In't Veld join the Asciano board," said Asciano chairman Malcolm Broomhead.
"Asciano's objective is to ensure we have a diverse board with a range of skills and experience to set the future direction of the group," he said.
