Perth-based IT company Velrada has won an international service award with tech giant Microsoft at its annual partner awards.

Velrada secured the 2018 Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Field Service Award, which recognises excellence in solutions and services based on Microsoft’s Dynamics 365 technology.

Chief executive Rob Evans said the company was thrilled to have won the award.

“We would like to thank all our clients and colleagues at Microsoft who have made this happen,” he said

“We have some very exciting opportunities to grow our business domestically, and in Europe and the US, and build out our very significant base of IP to provide industry platform and vertical solutions built on Microsoft cloud technology.

“We are enjoying some great success with advanced artificial intelligence solutions in areas such as predictive analytics, AI BOTs; and with key partners in this space such as LiveTiles.”

Velrada's president global operations Dom Nolan, who operates from the firm's new European office in Paris, said the award was a tremendous recognition of the achievements of its global team in integrating Microsoft 365 cloud, data and AI solutions in Australia, Europe and the USA.

The Microsoft awards were presented in several categories, with winners chosen from more than 2,600 entrants from 115 countries worldwide.
